Police Charge Man With Attempted Murder
22 year old appeared in court today (Thursday 24)
Following an incident on Monday at an address on John Street, Police have charged a man for abduction and attempted murder.
Police Scotland were called to a property off John Street, Penicuik, on Monday 21 September at 8:15pm where two men were later taken to hospital with injuries to their abdomens.
Since the incident, one individual aged 22 years has been arrested and charged with abduction and attempted murder.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said:
We can confirm that a 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the abduction and attempted murder of two men.
The incident occurred on Monday, September 21, at an address in John Street, Penicuik.
The 22-year-old will appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
