The Scottish Government are holding a question and answer session this week which aims to answer your queries about Scottish Independence.

This Wednesday, 30 April, between 19:30PM and 21:00PM, Mike Russell MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, will be in Penicuik’s YMCA centre answering your questions on independence.

The event is part of a series of touring Q&A sessions which the Scottish Government are holding in the run up to the ballot on Scottish Independence on 18 September. Attendees are advised to read the Government’s white paper on independence, “Scotland’s Future”, which sets out their case for Scotland becoming an independent country.

Tickets are free but you are asked to pre-register on the Eventbrite website, click here for a direct link.

The Q&A event comes after a local high school’s mock referendum ballot showed that 66% of the fifth and sixth year roll supported remaining in the United Kingdom. You can read more on that here.
