A 37 year old male has been arrested and charged by Police Scotland after being connected to two house break ins in early April.
The man, believed to be from Penicuik, was arrested last week however he has now been charged and will appear before the Sheriff Court today (Tuesday).
He has allegedly been rearrested after previous felonies however he is now charged with breaking into two houses, one in the Deanburn area of the town and one in Cuiken. The suspect entered these houses through an unlocked door before making off with keys in one case.
Some of the affected families took to TPC’s Facebook page to express their disgust in relation to how this man could do such a thing to his own community. He was referred to as “Junkie Scum” by one victim.
