Penicuik residents and Groups are again being asked to take part in the National Spring Clean in conjunction with the Keep Scotland Beautiful Campaign which runs from 1st April through to 31st May 2013
http://springclean.keepscotlandbeautiful.org/

The aim is to try and make Penicuik a more pleasant place to live in.

3 Events have been planned

  1. Beeslack Woods Saturday 6th April 2013 meet in Tesco car park at 9.30am
  2. Lowries Den Saturday 27th April 2013 meet in Penicuik Estate top car park 9.30am
  3. Cuiken Glen Sunday 5th May 2013 meet in YMCA car park 9.30am

All equipment will be provided along with refreshments. Even an hour of your time would make such a big difference.

Nearly all schools in Penicuik are organising their own events to try and educate their pupils to the continuing problem.
