Taylor Wimpey Have Moved In Even Before Planning Permission Is Decided Upon.

The housing developer have erected a large sign on the site of their planned Greenlaw Mill estate.

The sign teases the public with “2,3,4 & 5 bedroom houses and 2 bedroom apartments”.

This is the second time a housing developer has jumped the gun, with a similar sign being removed by George Wimpey after the Taylor Woodrow merger. We are lead to ask the question: Does Wimpey know something we don’t? or are they just being optimistic?

With a decision set for next March, there’s a long wait in store.

Update: It’s a case of now you see it, now you don’t. Yes, like it was never there Wimpey have removed the sign. Do you think they remembered that planning permission is required for an advertising structure of its size?
