Beeslack Buses Affected by First Closure but Disruption is Unlikely

First Bus have told us that along with other route terminations the Beeslack High School bus service, which is run by First, will be terminated in June.

They have said however that they intend to continue supplying the school until the summer holidays meaning that disruption is highly unlikely. The matter has been discussed with Midlothian Council and the route will be put out to tender at the end of the academic year. Route 139 will continue until the school term ends.

It is likely that the school will be supplied with buses from a new state run firm said to be named Midlothian Transport. Read the article relating to this here
